Bequette

Brian & Barbara Bequette have joined The Owen Group after 10 years as satisfied clients.  After years of buying, renovating, & selling homes in East Nashville and being represented by Barry & Debbie Owen as agents, Brian & Barbara decided to make the move to real estate full-time mid 2008. 

Brian comes to The Owen Group from ABA Remodels, a residential remodel business specializing in kitchen & bath design & construction.  Brian was co-owner, designer, project manager, & installer.  Brian also wrote a weekly column about homes, remodeling, and rock & roll called “Rock and Remodel” for the Nashville publication All the Rage.  He received his undergraduate degree & teacher certification from Harding University in 1994, & attended Harding Graduate School studying English Education.

Prior to joining The Owen Group, Barbara spent the last 13 years working in social work.  She earned her BA from Birmingham-Southern College in 1994 with a major in Sociology and English.  In addition to obtaining her real estate license, Barbara remains active in the non-profit community as the Volunteer Coordinator at Nashville Cares.

The Bequettes have lived in East Nashville for 12 years and are involved members of the neighborhood.  Brian and Barbara have a Doberman named Kitty and a 2 year old daughter, Caroline, who prefers to go by “Tay Tay”.
